Let's keep Whittier prettier!
Join the Whittier Alliance, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, and your neighbors for an Earth Day Clean Up starting at Whittier Recreation Center. This event is all-ages, does not require pre-registration, and bags & gloves will be provided. *Snacks, coffee and beverages will also be provided* We just partnered with Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Association (LHENA) + Wedge Table to subsidize and facilitate a Community Organics Recycling Drop-Off Program for our Whittier renters & condo-owners, and it's FREE!
Now you can sign up to receive a code that gives you access to organics bins located in the Wedge Table's south parking lot. To find more information and sign up, check out LHENA's website. Maybe you just want to voice your opinion, or get involved with local initiatives. CI is a great first step to meeting neighbors or gathering support. Either way, look no further!
