Alex Pretti Memorial

Whittier Alliance is working to bring community members together to talk about what they envision for Alex Pretti's memorial in the long-term.

So far, we have held meetings with business owners directly surrounding the memorial and have organized a meeting for people with a personal connection to Alex.

We’re now looking for thoughts and ideas from the full community.

Part of this process will be to determine whether Whittier Alliance is the right organization to coordinate the creation of the memorial itself. Currently, we are only working to gather community feedback.

There are two upcoming ways to share your thoughts: at our upcoming event at Yess Yoga on September 19, and via online survey. Even if you are able to attend the Yess Yoga event, we encourage you to also complete the online survey—the online survey indicates questions that you can skip if you have or will attend an in-person event.
