SAVE THE DATE for Neighborhood Day Saturday (May 2) from 12-3pm at Whittier Rec Center (425 W 26th St).
What’s happening? Food! Fun! Community! Join for free food from local restaurants, Really Really Free Market (from 1-4pm), kids’ activities from the Children’s Theater and Whittier School, plus info on ways to get involved in local neighborhood organizing projects.

Earth Day Neighborhood Trash Pick-Up
Whittier Alliance in collaboration with Calvary Church is joining the MPRB Earth Day Cleanup!
Bring your friends and family to help clean in the neighborhood, we will provide bags, pickers, gloves and food!
Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning and pizza for lunch!

Monarca Upstander Training
Our first Quarterly Safety Meeting of 2026 will be an ICE Upstander Training, hosted by Monarca. Come learn how to support your neighbors and promote community safety for all.

Whittier ICE Response Meeting
We're holding a COMMUNITY MEETING next Wednesday, 1/14, at 6pm at Whittier Elementary School.

Attend our upcoming event to learn how a Health Care Directive, facilitated by Lutheran Services of Minnesota, gives you peace of mind and control over your healthcare future.
This vital legal document allows you to:
Appoint a trusted health care agent to make decisions for you if you're unable to speak for yourself.
Clearly state your personal preferences for medical treatments and end-of-life care.
Explore the importance and basic background of Health Care Directives and what makes a good health care agent. We will lead the group through a conversation to explore their values and goals in health care.

November Community Dinner

This community dinner we will be all about books! We will have an active book swap going so please being books that you don’t want anymore.
