Health Care Directive Event
Attend our upcoming event to learn how a Health Care Directive, facilitated by Lutheran Services of Minnesota, gives you peace of mind and control over your healthcare future.
This vital legal document allows you to:
Appoint a trusted health care agent to make decisions for you if you're unable to speak for yourself.
Clearly state your personal preferences for medical treatments and end-of-life care.
Explore the importance and basic background of Health Care Directives and what makes a good health care agent. We will lead the group through a conversation to explore their values and goals in health care.

November Community Dinner
Come and join us for our monthly community dinner!
We are catering from Rainbow Restaurant!!
This community dinner we will be all about books! We will have an active book swap going so please being books that you don’t want anymore. We will also have some Advanced Reader Copies (ARC) and bookmarks from Once Upon A Crime Bookstore! Hennepin County Library will also be tabling about resources you can find at the library!

This meeting is targeted for Latino business owners in the Whittier neighborhood and the surrounding area! Lunch will be catered through Taco Taxi!

Minneapolis Ward 10 Candidate Forum
Join us for a Ward 10 candidate forum! All candidates who are on the ballot for City Council in Ward 10 have been invited to participate.
Informal interpretation will be available in Somali and Spanish.
Please submit questions for the candidates in advance using this form. Written questions will also be accepted at the forum.
Forum is co-hosted by the League of Women Voters, Queermunity, Ayada Leads, South Uptown Neighborhood Association, East Bde Maka Ska Neighborhood Association, and Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Association.
