Participate in the Annual Meeting Election
Whittier residents and individuals owning property or a business in the Whittier neighborhood are members of the Whittier Alliance. In order to exercise their voting rights, members must first verify their voting eligibility. They will then be added to a registered voter list and kept on file for future voting opportunities. If you are not sure whether you are registered, we encourage you to complete the form below.
Once voter eligibility is established, rights of members may be exercised immediately. Membership includes the right to vote at Whittier Alliance Acting Committee Meetings, the Annual Meeting, Special Meetings of the membership, and for the election of board members and Chairs for all Acting Committees. The methods through which residents, property owners, and business owners can each establish their voting eligibility are outlined in the Whittier Alliance Bylaws on pages 2-3
Verified voters who submit an email will automatically be sent an electronic ballot to vote online, Those without email, or who prefer to vote in person can do so at the Whittier Alliance office. Voting hours are listed below.

2024-2025 Whittier Election Voter Guide
There are 7 open seats: 4 resident representative seats, 1 non-profit representative seat, one for profit/property owner (non-resident) business representative seat, and one seat representing either a non-profit or for profit business. To learn more about running for a seat on the board click here,
In addition to voting on members of our Board of Directors there will be additional questions on this years ballot. As we do every year, we will vote to on our Standing Committees for the coming year. We will also be voting to update our current strategic plan, and to update the allocation of the funds we receive from the City of Minneapolis' Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP).
