Now More Than Ever!
In response to the ongoing global pandemic and its adverse effects on the business community the Whittier Alliance has created the Now More Than Ever digital campaign to support and promote local business through mandated closures and beyond. The goal of this campaign is to promote solidarity between neighborhood businesses and the community at large.
Join the Whittier Alliance in showing our local businesses how much we value their presence in our community by committing to #SpendBigOnSmall and posting your support on social media! To help spread the love at a time when Whittier businesses need it most, WA will send you a free $20 gift card to another Whittier business of your choice* when you follow the simple steps listed below. Now is your chance to try some place new and do your part to keep all corners of our neighborhood economy going.
How to receive your free $20 gift card:
*Gift cards will be limited to one per business and one per participant and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. This promotion will continue until the allotted funds have been exhausted. If you know of a customer-facing business in Whittier that should be added to this list, please reach out to [email protected].
How to receive your free $20 gift card:
- Make a purchase at a Whittier business
- Share a photo of your purchase and experience on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Tag both the business and Whittier Alliance, and include the hashtag #SpendBigOnSmall. The "Support Small Business" sticker on Instagram will also work for that platform.
- Whittier Alliance will send you a direct message to secure a photo of your receipt & contact info for where to send your $20 gift card
- You review the remaining businesses available for gift card selection on our COVID-19 Business Status Tracker & inform WA staff of your choice.
