HOW DO I VOTE?
You must register if you want to vote at the Annual Meeting.
To register, arrive between 5:30-6:30pm (we'll have someone there after if you're a little late) and provide the necessary documents to our registration table:
Residents-bring a current photo ID card that has your Whittier address. If your ID doesn't have your Whittier address, your photo ID + a current document* with your Whittier address will work.
Property Owners-to vote at the Annual Meeting, you must provide your articles of incorporation* at the Whittier Alliance office (10 E 25th St) prior to the meeting. Once you have done this, you vote similarly to a resident.
Business Owners-business owners do not vote for at-large board members at the Annual Meeting; instead, they vote for Business Association representatives on the board at the April Business Association Meeting (Wednesday, April 11, 3-4:30 @ Minneapolis Institute of Art). Like property owners, business owners must also provide articles of incorporation* at the WA office (10 E 25th St) before voting at meetings.
*For full details on voting, check out the voting post on our website*
