The Whittier Neighborhood spans 81 square blocks, between Franklin Ave, I-35W, Lake St, and Lyndale Ave. The Whittier Alliance Housing Issues Committee was formed in May 2018 with the goal of addressing housing-related issues Whittier Neighborhood residents may face. A brief survey has been crafted with support from the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) to help our Committee understand how neighborhood residents feel about their current living situation, the new developments underway or recently completed, and other important aspects of housing and livability in Whittier. With this information, we will craft a unified-perspective of Whittier Residents' vision for the neighborhood and share with Minneapolis City Council, private developers, and local businesses.
The survey will take you approximately 5-8 minutes, and unless you indicate your desire to be more involved with the project or other volunteer opportunities moving forward by including your name and email, the responses will remain anonymous. The survey period will remain open until October 31st!
