At Whittier Alliance we are carefully monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the recommendations of state and federal health officials. At this point we still expect to hold our neighborhood's Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 9th, however, we will continue to monitor the situation and will follow the guidance from health officials about holding public events. If necessary, we will postpone the event until later this year In order to protect the health of our neighbors, staff, and community partners.
On a neighbor to neighbor level, it is important to practice good personal hygiene, including covering your cough, frequent and thorough hand-washing with soap and water. If you feel ill, consult with your medical provider, and stay home from work and public places. Have a personal plan for yourself and your family should you need to adjust your plans due to your own illness, or someone close to you.
This page will be regularly updated with any schedule changes and contingency plans, including a cancellation for upcoming gatherings and alternative next steps, should that become necessary. These are difficult times for everyone. Thank you for your patience and your support of Whittier Alliance.
