The Sanneh Foundation, a 2016 Whittier Alliance youth micro-grant recipient, hosted a series of social impact soccer camps this summer at Whittier Park for youth ages 5-14. Here are some of the highlights:
-306 Whittier kids served
-17 days of programming offered
-90% of parents said their son/daughter learned or improved his/her soccer abilities because of the camps.
-90% of parents reported their son/daughter made new friends and developed a stronger appreciation of diversity because of the camps.
Great work, Sanneh Foundation!
For youth-serving organizations interested in making an impact on the young people of Whittier next year, the Whittier Alliance will be issuing its 2017 youth grant Request For Proposal later this Fall.
